Beautiful iPad order entry, synchronised with Unleashed inventory
Before the integration
Handshake is an excellent iPad app for sales reps, agents and any fast ‘on the go’ order capturing. It presents a beautiful product catalog with fast and handy options to capture customer information and product orders. Without an integration, businesses have to export orders from their order entry system and import them into their inventory or accounting system.
How the integration works
This custom integration regularly transfers new orders from Handshake to Unleashed Software. It also looks after synchronisation of the customers, products, pricing and stock levels between the two systems.

In this case, we were talking to a business that’s using Unleashed Inventory to take orders for wholesale. They also have sale agents running around and taking orders for their products. They wanted the sales agents to have a really cool system using an iPad application called Handshake where you can look at photos of your products and you show them around and take orders. But the two systems don’t work together, so manual entry was involved.
We built a custom integration for them. Products and prices are now synchronised automatically between the two systems, new orders and new customers that are set up on Handshake flow straight into Unleashed, and the office can process all the orders in one place.
